Nowadays Rawai is a famous launching point for day boat excursions out to Phuket’s surrounding islands , all famous for their idyllic beaches, with crystal clear blue water for snorkeling and other types of water activities, taking only 15-40 minutes away by boat. Many longtail boats available for hire line its shores, where you can arrange a trip to Coral Island, Koh Lone or Racha Island,or a fishing or snorkel trip.
